As a Quality Engineer at FFE, you will help ensure that our specialist fire detection products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

You will work hands‑on across the full product lifecycle, supporting manufacturing, engineering, test, and supply chain operations to protect product integrity from supplier components through to finished goods.

A key part of this role includes supplier quality management, ensuring that critical components and assemblies sourced from our global supplier base meet specification, certification, and performance expectations.

Commercial Growth Marketing Manager

Hitchin, UK

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (39 hours per week)

As the Commercial Growth Marketing Manager you will own commercial growth outcomes from marketing activity, measured by pipeline creation, conversion, and revenue impact. You will plan and execute outreach, demand generation, win-back, and channel initiatives aligned to sales priorities.

This role acts as the voice of the customer within marketing, using insight to shape messaging, positioning, and campaigns. You will align closely with Sales and Product to convert marketing activity into measurable commercial results. You will have a strong background delivering multi-channel campaigns across digital, events, webinars, partners, and website journeys in order to generate B2B demand.

You will need to have proven experience with CRM and a strong understanding of conversion metrics, attribution models, and reporting tied to pipeline and revenue. Head of Engineering

Cambridge, UK

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (39 hours per week)

Salary: Competitive

As the Head of Engineering, you will provide strategic and tactical leadership across FFE’s electronics, mechanical, software and development engineering functions, ensuring the successful delivery of New Product Development (NPD), Sustaining Engineering and compliance projects while driving technical excellence. This role ensures that engineering capabilities, processes, and outputs align with FFE’s strategic roadmap and support ongoing product performance, innovation, and business growth.

You will provide clear leadership and vision, inspire and motivate staff to achieve excellence and mentor them as they develop new skills. The Head of Engineering drives key performance indicators across the engineering functions to ensure that all projects are delivered on cost, on time and to the highest quality standards whilst driving continuous Improvement across the engineering functions.

The position reports into the Technical Director and sits as a senior leader within the Technical Department.

Technical Solutions Sales Engineer - USA

Remote, USA

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (39 hours per week)

Salary: Competitive

As a Technical Solutions Sales Engineer, you will act as the technical authority across our full product portfolio and support customers through application guidance, standards-compliant solution design, and structured technical training. The role focuses on translating customer requirements into engineered, compliant solutions while supporting sales growth across North America.

You will work closely with existing customers, new prospects, channel partners, and internal teams to build strong relationships, deliver demonstrations and training, support specification activity, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and compliant. By ensuring solutions are technically sound you will remove technical barriers to purchase, strengthen customer confidence, and enable opportunities to progress through the sales cycle and convert into revenue.

You will need to have strong technical and application skills, using engineering expertise within defined sales processes to progress deals, close opportunities, and provide structured feedback to Product Management and Technical Support.
